Registering on and using the SCMS E-tendering Portal

Times: 3 sessions: 9.00 am, 11.15 am and 2.00 pm

Many local authorities and other public sector agencies in the Yorkshire and Humber region use Supplier and Contract Management System (SCMS) to advertise and manage their tenders.
SCMS is a single portal for suppliers to register interest in council business and to tender electronically.
This workshop will explain to suppliers:
- How to register your profile on SCMS to ensure you are notified when suitable tenders are advertised
- How to use scms to research for buying trends
- How to register your interest in bidding for a tender
- How to manage your profile
- How to obtain and return tender documentation and your supporting evidence
The session is interactive and all participants have access to a computer to update their profile, complete their own research and practice using the system.

Anyone seeking to tender for contracts with local authorities in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
