Interviews and presentations are often used as part of the tendering process. This course is designed to introduce delegates to the skills, techniques and resources needed to plan, prepare and conduct an effective presentation in any situation.
The practical approach to the subject will help build confidence levels as well as providing a structured approach for putting together and delivering presentations aimed at gaining maximum audience attention.
In addition to the presentation itself, the course will also address personal preparation including appearance, techniques for overcoming nerves, voice modulation, pitch and tone.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Appreciate the benefits of a well structured and researched presentation
- Understand the importance of preparation
- Know how to select and use appropriate resources and how to use them to best effect
- Understand the personal attributes needed that will help to deliver your message and make an impact on your audience
- Identify the five principle methods in a presentation
- Carry out a practice presentation in a ‘safe environment’.
Who should attend?
This course is for anyone proposing to make a formal or informal presentation and is ideally suited to individuals new to the process or, as a refresher for those who have prior experience of presenting.

Monday 22nd March 2010, 9.30am to 1pm – a Doncaster venue.
