This practical session aims to equip participants with an understanding of how to plan, budget and successfully price a tender proposal.

- Is pricing a science or an art?
- What resources do we need to deliver? (staff, premises, machinery, consumables, transport, money)
- Alternative Pricing Methods
- Understanding cost structure & finances
- Income & Expenditure v Cashflow
- Financing your tender (cash, loans, directors loans, invoice discounting)
- VAT and Tax
- The cost of delivery
- What is value? (what someone is prepared to pay for a service)
- Forecasting your tender
- Negotiation
- Sensitivity and Risk Assessment.
Who should attend?
Managers, trustees or finance officers who may be involved in bidding for contracts.
