Aeroventure home of The South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum
Aeroventure houses The South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum, a fully Accredited Museum and Charity run by volunteers, conserving the Museum’s historic buildings and aircraft. These date from 1909 to the present day including jets, helicopters, airliners and other aviation objects, photos and documents recording and preserving the rich aviation history of our region. You can get close up to the aircraft and other artefacts like the helicopters and large engine display plus selected cockpits are open to sit in too. We raise funds through our well stocked model hobby and gift shop and serve light refreshments.
We are open Wednesdays to Sunday for all visitors and special arrangements for parties over 10 in number can be pre booked; please ring the shop during opening hours.
