Doncaster Centre for Basic Skills and Dyslexia
We are a newly registered charity based in Doncaster, We have 14 members including 4 trustees. Membership is free. Our aims are to advance the education of the public who are socially or educationally disadvantaged in Doncaster and South Yorkshire, in particular but not exclusively by working with persons suffering from dyslexia, ethnic minority groups or those suffering from some other disability, so as to develop their vocational and life skills in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to integrate more confidently into society.We deliver literacy, numeracy,ESOL and ICT such as ECDL, CLAIT and PC Engineering. We also provide screening and diagnosis for dyslexic learners too.
