North Doncaster Community Transport
North Doncaster Community Transport is a not for profit organisation that provides safe and affordable transport to non profit making community groups and organisations in the Doncaster area.
We have 2, 16 seat, wheel chair accessible mini buses for hire by groups or organisations. We also provide in-house Midas (minibus driver awareness scheme) driver training, any potential volunteers to the scheme would receive this training, which is endorsed by the CTA (Community Transport Association) and ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) free of charge.
NDCT also runs a 'Wheels to Work' scheme which helps people between the ages of 16 and 25 to overcome their transport difficulties when trying to access work, by providing them with a 50cc motor scooter for a period of up to 6 months. Each person is given rider equipment, put through their CBT (Compulsary Bike Training). The bikes are taxed, insured, services and maintained, all for just £5 per week.
