This could be your last chance to apply for a free place on the Level 3 Award in Managing Volunteers (National Open College Network). There are Bursaries available for places on courses across the Yorkshire and Humber and North East sub-regions throughout 2010/11.
24th May is the closing date for applications for bursaries, which are available as part of Capacitybuilders’ Volunteer Management Programme.

The NOCN Award covers each aspect of volunteer management - including: social policy and community impact of volunteering; organisational and strategic processes, policies and procedures; recruiting, selecting and supervising volunteers; training and developing volunteers and dealing with difficult issues.
The course is delivered through a combination of face-to-face and distance learning, individually supported by online tutors and the Learning Community.
