Address your organisational challenges in a novel way
12th May 2010
Sheffield Hallam University are offering you the chance to try a novel approach to solving your organisational challenges. You can join a small group of professionals working in social enterprises across a variety of sectors and industries to find solutions to your organisational challenges. You can draw on the group's experience and identify approaches that are used in other industries or situations. This process of cross-pollination helps you to 'think outside of the box' and identify new and innovative practices to apply to your situation. You can bring almost any topic to the group for discussion. Previous topics have included
recession-related issues
human resources
employee morale
marketing
managing suply chains
organisational culture
coaching
The 'Action Learning Sets' consist of four sessions over a period of four weeks, usually from 6.00-9.00pm with a buffet dinner included. The sets normally cost £399, but with thanks for external funding we're able to offer free places for a limited period. If you're interested in trialling a new way to develop creative solutions in your social enterprise, contact Sarai Barton on 0114 225 3771 or email s.barton@shu.ac.uk.
