Personalisation and the Opportunities for Social Enterprise

CSEP hosted Part 2 of a series of events to communicate developments and opportunities for Social Enterprises and other Third Sector organisations under the Personalisation Agenda in Health & Social Care today at the Lakeside Community Church.
Martin Walker, Programme Manager, Modernisation and Policy, DMBC and Ashy Shanker, Strategic Lead and Commissioning and Planning Manager, NHS Doncaster, very kindly agreed to be our Guest Speakers, along with Jo Kelsall, Manager, Health & Social Care, Doncaster CVS.
All speakers provided a very informative perspective on this new Government initiative and their plans for implementation which led to a useful discussion about how best the Sector could engage with this process.
A little like the 'chicken and egg' scenario, it became evident that the DMBC and NHS Doncaster would like to find out what services our Sector has to offer and, equally, members would like to know what areas of demand there are.
An ideal vehicle for providing information on the services that the Sector offers is the CSEP website directory. If you are not a CSEP member and would like to appear on this directory (for FREE), you can do so via this website.
However, if you are a member, perhaps you need to check how up to date your profile is? It is vital to ensure that the profile section of your entry is exactly what you want any public sector procurement officers, or the general public, to see. In other words, are you making the most of this FREE marketing opportunity?
