Dear AllDoncaster & South Humber Healthcare NHS Trust (DASH) are looking at how NHS resources can be used for the benefit of the community. One programme accepted is that of the Walled Garden located on the St. Catherine’s site at Balby and over recent months over £40.000 has already been spent to undertake this significant development. The project will also explore the possibility of renovating an old stable block as a retail and catering courtyard to support the development.It is hoped that the developed wall garden will offer opportunities for therapeutic activity, education, training, work experience and creating pathways to employment for disadvantaged and socially excluded groups. In order to take this forward it will need support and enthusiasm from other organisations and groups and you are invited to attend a Stakeholder event being held on Wednesday 29th November in the Seminar Room, Opal Centre at 9.00am – 12.00pm.
