DONCASTER SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT

SOUTH YORKSHIRE INVESTMENT PLAN (SYIP) PROGRAMME
SINGLE POT / YORKSHIRE FORWARD April 2007 – March 2009

Through the South Yorkshire Investment Plan (SYIP), Doncaster CVS has funding available over the next 2 financial years (April 2007 – March 2009) to sub contract with local voluntary and community sector organisations to provide a range of infrastructure support services to the voluntary and community sector within Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC).

The services for which we will be seeking providers, from April 2007 – March 2009 will be around:

· Community Accountancy Services

- Financial Management Advice & Support – including help and advice with basic financial systems such as budgets, cash flow, petty cash, income and expenditure, restricted and unrestricted income etc.

- Independent Examinations of Accounts

- Financial Management Health checks

-Implementation development, support and training for new and existing groups using Quickbooks accounts software

· Business Planning / Diversifying Income / Business (Voluntary & Community Sector) Support

- We are looking for services to be delivered in this area around business planning with groups, funding advice (inc’ diversifying income) and developing fundraising strategies with groups for longer term sustainability

- Support and advice services for voluntary and community sector groups around procurement and public sector contracting
