Meet procurement heads at Footsey Social Enterprise Trade Fair

7th October 2009

If your organisation wants to trade with the public sector here are two workshops, running at Footsey 2009, that you can't miss:

"How to bid for local authority tenders - the procurers' perspective" will be delivered by Lorraine Purcell, Head of Corporate Procurement, Sheffield City Council, and Karen Middlebrook, Procurement Category Manager, Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council.  And

"Opportunities in health and social care - development, investment, procurement" will be delivered by Tracy Cannell, Dept of Health; Dr Sam Linton, Business Development Officer, The Social Investment Business; and Bridget Gill, Associate Director, Business Planning & Continuity, NHS Yorkshire and the Humber.

Footsey 2009 will have more social enterprises, more organisations offering financial support, and more public sector buyers attending than ever before. It's unmissable if you trade with social enterprises or are looking for advice or support.

If you've booked your place already - thank you and we look forward to seeing you there.  Please forward this email to colleagues and friends who are also involved in trading with the social economy.

If you've not booked you can do so here: www.footsey.org.uk

Feedback from prior delegates demonstrates just how worthwhile they have found it:

“Attending Footsey has generated over £1m in business for our organisation.” (Footsey 2006, 2007 and 2008 delegate - he's booked his place for 2009 too!).
